Organized and carried out over 25+ training programs, targeting job creation and revenue generation for the rural and tribal populations in the Northeastern region of India.
Technologies were implemented in areas such as Lakhimpur, Dhemaji, Bodoland, Sonitpur and other tribal regions of Assam and Arunachal Pradesh.
5000+ women were trained in the developed technologies. Over 25000 farmers from tribal and scheduled caste backgrounds were trained for the creation of livelihoods and income.

Technology was developed for extracting bioactives from Lantana Camara and creating mosquito repellent incense sticks and Agarbattis. NHPC Limited, through their CSR-SD scheme, supported the development of this technology and provided skill development training to youth and women entrepreneurs in Lakhimpur and Dhemaji districts as a means of livelihood support through the "DAKSH" project.

IIRM implemented a large-scale technology for rearing Khaki Campbell ducks in the Sonitpur district. This technology, which includes rearing, feed production and egg production, was taught to 5000+ farmers. The project was carried out with the support of State Institute of Rural Development and Kerala Agricultural University.

Development of advanced agricultural methods for cultivation of medicinal plants such as Coptis Teeta, Taxus Baccata, Swertia Chiraita, Pannassikkimensis, Illicium Griffithii and others.

A cost-effective technology was developed for sustainable fish farming which includes the production of magur fingerlings and fish. This technology will help in increasing the marketing benefits for the unemployed scheduled youths in Sonitpur district of Assam.
